the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 1997.07.13

Absolutely the best sci-fi produced in some time. Everything from the realistic politics and theology to the wonderful depictions of nebulae, weird alien technology, and the discussion of radio & television broadcasts is bang on. This is much finer than the usual CRAP which passes for the SCI in science fiction. It blended science, technology, and humanity in quite a fascinating way.

Recommended.

When I was a teenager I was sure I'd be dead before I was thirty. Let's just say that I am well into some serious gravy time now but sometimes I wonder if I am actually dead and this is hell.
